Where our Bengaluru parking data comes from

Every parking lot, price and rule for Bengaluru comes from a source named here.

The lots: OpenStreetMap

The 890 parking spots on the map, and the places you can search, come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Most are mapped by volunteers and are not verified, and most have no published price.

Some named lots also come from Overture Maps Foundation places data (CDLA Permissive 2.0), kept only where its confidence is reasonable.

The prices and rules

A price appears only where a publisher states it. We show the publisher and the day we read it. Where the sources disagree or are out of date we show no number.

What we add

The chance of a space is our own estimate from the usual demand for a kind of place at an hour. It is not a live count. Distances and drive times are estimates from the map.
