Where our data comes from
Last updated 24 October 2026
The parking lots and places on Nivaaro Parking are put together from open and public sources. Every lot page links to the sources behind it.
Sources
- OpenStreetMap: parking lots, and the places you can search (areas, markets, malls, hospitals, stations and more). © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) 1.0. Map pictures also come from OpenStreetMap by default.
- Overture Maps Foundation: further named parking places. Used under its open licence, with attribution.
- Delhi Metro Rail Corporation: the parking listed on its station pages, including gate, capacity and the operator. A lot taken from these pages is marked “Authorised”.
- Published rate cards of the municipal bodies (NDMC, MCD) and airport operators, for prices. Each price shows the source and when it was last checked.
What we add
Our own work is the estimate of the chance of a space, the ranking by walk and drive time, the way-in notes and the comments, which are reviewed before they appear. Estimates are not live counts. See the terms.
The open database
Because the location data combines OpenStreetMap data with others, the combined database is shared under the ODbL as well. To ask for a copy of it, or to point out a mistake in the source map data (which anyone can fix at openstreetmap.org), use the complaints page.
